Explosion-proof multi-purpose modular complex UMK-A devices in combined design represent a combination of various UMK-A type units intended for cable connection and distribution, switching and control of electrical equipment, and audible and visual emergency warning in alarm systems installed indoors or outdoors, in explosion hazardous areas, areas with combustible dust hazards, as well as in areas with possible flame exposure to the equipment.

The code includes a simple sequence of the individual components that make up the product.
For example, an explosion-proof aluminium status light panel with four flashing beacons, fitted with LED flash lamps under white, blue, red, and yellow lenses, voltage 24V DC, with all enclosures painted red (RAL 3000), equipped with two AVVKu-25 cable glands for non-armoured cables installed at the bottom of the first beacon, without additional options (visor, extra nameplate), is designated as follows:
