TAVVKu explosion-proof cable glands are intended for the entry of armoured cables in conduit connection in the enclosures of explosion-proof electrical equipment installed indoors or outdoors, as well as on offshore platforms and port terminals, in hazardous areas with explosive atmospheres or combustible dust.

VVK – product designation: "VVK" – explosion-proof cable glands;
Х2 – design of the gland sealing ring (u – set of O-rings);
Х3 – gland material: nickel-plated brass (default, no marking), N – stainless steel, L – bare brass, S – steel, SO – galvanized steel, A – aluminium. Similar materials may also be used;
Х4 – cable gland size;
